I’m participating in the Dark Faerie Tales’ Fantastic Fables Event, and just for fun I thought I’d post a little prequel to MARK OF THE SYLPH. It tells the story of how Taeg first learns about Excalibur.

The post is called The (True) Tale of Excalibur and I hope you stop in to read it!

I’m super excited to announce that today is release day for Mark of the Sylph!

MARK OF THE SYLPH (Demons of Infernum #2)

This story features my favorite hero of all-time. Taeg is a sarcastic smartass who meets his match (and then some) in archaeology student (and part-time demon slayer) Maya! If you haven’t read it yet, here’s a bit more about the book:

Half-demon Taeg is desperate to free his pregnant sister-in-law, who is spellbound to an indestructible book that will create an army of the undead. He is convinced that an ancient sword can destroy the book and the spell forever, but this relic has been hidden for a millennia by a powerful glamour. The clock begins to run out on his search when an old rival goes after the book and Taeg’s family in his quest for revenge.

Librarian Maya Flores has a secret: she’s immune to magic and is well aware of the supernatural beings prowling the streets of New York City. Haunted by a brutal demon attack that took her family, she is on a one-woman mission to destroy the evil demons who did it—and any others who get in her way.

Maya is Taeg’s best hope for uncovering the sword. Unfortunately, she wants nothing more than to kill him. As he fights for her trust and to save his family, she is forced to face the truth that not all demons are evil. And the worst part? She might be falling in love with one, too.

Update: The winner of the Entangled in Love Blog Hop is Melissa Keith! Congrats Melissa, and thanks to everyone for participating!

Welcome to the Entangled In Love Blog Hop, which runs from February 8th to 15th. You’ve got plenty of chances to wins lots of great prizes, so be sure to stop by each site on the hop!

February is the month of love and romance. What better way to celebrate than with books?

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve always snatched up a romance whenever I needed a little pick-me-up, whenever I wanted to experience the magical moment of characters falling in love. As I grew older, my passion switched from historical romance to contemporary, and finally to paranormal, where I’ve remained for the better part of a decade. Something about characters with a little bit ‘extra’ really gets me going. So it was only natural that, when I started writing, I would gravitate to the genre of paranormal romance.

I’m a total sucker for the Beauty and the Beast theme, and you’ll catch a hint of that in my book, Blood of the Demon (Book 1 in my Demons of Infernum series). The hero, Keegan, is a half demon, interdimensional bounty hunter who’s determined not to give in to his attraction to psychometric art gallery owner. Not only because of his half demon heritage, but also because, in order to save the world, he may be forced to kill her. Here’s a little more on the story:

BotD-500pxBLOOD OF THE DEMON, Book 1,

Demons of Infernum

Keegan lives to exact revenge on the evil demon who sired and abused him. When his father devises a plan to bring on the apocalypse, he and his three half-brothers, interdimensional bounty hunters for the Elden Council, are charged with capturing and delivering their father for punishment.

Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she’s also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon’s Most Wanted List.

And no one wants her more than Keegan’s father.

Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he’ll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics—the far deadlier, uncontrollable half—when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks. The one woman he’ll never be able to resist.

Also, I just got a fabulous new review of For Love of an Angel, Book 1 of the Fallen Warriors series. GraveTells.com says:

Wow, is it hot in here or is it just me? This book has so much sexual tension in it you could probably build a mile wide bridge… Michael. Oh. My. God. Can I have him please? He is the most perfect gentleman the whole book and he breaks your heart sometimes. If I can somehow find myself a Michael like this, I might just be in Heaven.

Thank you Grave Tells!
