I’ve been informed by Romance Reviews Today that Mark of the Sylph has scored a rare Perfect 10 score!

What does that mean?  Romance Reviews Today has only one grading system… The Perfect 10 system.  If a reviewer thinks a book is deserving, meaning truly exceptional, it receives the Perfect 10.

Any Perfect 10 book is entered as a nominee into RRT’s Best Book of the Year Award for overall best book and in the book’s genre category!

The reviewer said:

This book pretty much blew my mind, and there were so many awesome elements to talk about that I don’t think I can even cover it all. Ms. Lario writes one of the most compelling, engrossing, deeply romantic, and totally sexy paranormal romances I’ve read to date. With great action, touching sacrifice, and sweet seduction to give the book life, and wonderful writing, voice, style, and character development to solidify the prose, this book literally has it all. I was in love with this book, its characters, and the world that Ms. Lario built from start to finish, and I literally couldn’t put it down, even to eat. The only thing I would caution: before reading MARK OF THE SYLPH, you really have to read book one, BLOOD OF THE DEMON. It’s not a good standalone, but the series is awesome, so go read it! STAT.

In conclusion, all I can say to my fellow readers is: Go out and get this book. It’s a wonderful, necessary addition to your shelf. The story is touching and hot, poignant and sexy, sweet and sassy. MARK OF THE SYLPH is a book I will continually revisit, and I will both cry and laugh out loud every time I do. Because of this book’s absolutely decadent perfection, I would like to award it the Perfect 10 award from Romance Reviews Today. Thank you, Ms. Lario, for a stunning journey.

Wow! I don’t even know what to say. I’m so thrilled to receive this honor!

Aw, thank you so much Rachel! Taeg is always screaming in my head, that cheeky demon. I might have to revisit him and Maya one day. 🙂
