Christmas Wishes Blog Hop

Posted on Updated on

Update: Thanks so much to everyone who participated in this giveaway! The winners, chosen by, are: donnablhmistress, Teresa Lloyd, & Sophia Rose. I’ll contact each of you privately to arrange for your delivery of For Love of an Angel.

Hello and welcome to the Christmas Wishes Blog Hop!

Christmas is my favorite holiday. It’s the one time of year where people seem to slow down a bit, where they take the time to acknowledge the things that are truly important: family, friends, and loved ones. The fact that the holiday comes with a little rest and relaxation time doesn’t hurt either! I always use the holidays to catch up on my (admittedly massive) TBR list. 🙂

I’d love to know, what’s your favorite part of the holidays? Is it the time off work? Seeing family? The yummy food, lol?

Anyone who leaves a comment below and who signs up to follow me either on this blog (click on Email Subscription on the right-hand sidebar), on my Newsletter, or at Facebook will be entered to win 1 of 3 ecopies of For Love of an Angel, Book 1 in my Fallen Warriors series. (Winners to be chosen by on December 14th). Read on for more on the series:

Book One of the Fallen Warriors Series

In a world where angels rule over humans, twelve outcasts dare to defy expectation, warring with their angel brethren to prevent the extinction of humankind.

They are The Fallen.

Michael is one of twelve angels who have been outcast due to their determination to protect humankind. In order to preserve his immortality and strength, he must find a mate with angel blood. Eva Smyth has never believed the propaganda spouted by the Consortium—the elite system of guards put into place once angels took over reign of Earth—but she never expected to learn the angels plan to eradicate all of humankind, or that she herself is part angel. Joining Michael means living a life on the run, at war against the angels and hunted by the Consortium. Eva must decide whether to risk it all…for love of an angel.

“Great dialogue, perfect amount of time dedicated to details, and great teaser introductions to the other angels. I loved the world she built and can’t wait to read all of the stories in the series!”
Bitten by Paranormal Romance
“Author Rosalie Lario has masterfully built a world unlike any I’ve ever seen in FOR LOVE OF AN ANGEL.  The first book in THE FALLEN WARRIORS series is filled with passion, excitement, danger and most importantly, love.  I was entranced by FOR LOVE OF AN ANGEL from the very first page.”
Romance Junkies Reviews
“Whoever thought that men with wings on their back couldn’t be considered sexy, needs to read this story. Because, seriously, Michael could best be described with one word: “yuuuuummmmy”.”
Kick Back & Review
“Wow, is it hot in here or is it just me? This book has so much sexual tension in it you could probably build a mile wide bridge..”

My favorite part of the holiday season is the decorations. We don’t get to be this tacky very often.

Hi Rosalie, and Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Christmas is also my favorite holiday as well!! My favorite part is having all of my family here to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ together! Unfortunately it does not always work out that way. I have one son that is in the US Army and him and his family are stationed in Hawaii for the next three years and are not going to be able to be home for Christmas, my other son is in the US Marines and is hoping to be able to come home for Christmas. One of my sisters lives in Va. and will not be able to come home either. However we are always all together in heart.

Did you have to bring up Borders? I thought I was through mourning its loss until you brought up your routine. Mine was pretty similar except I drank the triple cocoa instead of coffee. My bibliophile Christmas routine also included a lovely indie bookstore too so fortunately I can still keep that up as my calm place in the midst of the holiday storm.

    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

Thanks so much to everyone for your wonderful comments.

Teresa, my thoughts and prayers are with your sons this holiday. Our country is so wonderful in part because of people like them, who choose to live in service.

Sophia, I’m jealous! I’d love to have a local indie. 🙂

Merry Christmas to all of you!
