Cover Reveal for Bad Girls Do

Guys, I’m so excited to finally be able to reveal the cover for Bad Girls Do, Book 3 in the Everly Brothers series!

Bad Girls Do Sml (1)

Bad girls have all the fun…

Trying to fit in with expectations has left Diane Milstrom lonely and dateless for yet another New Year’s Eve. After being forced to witness her ex proposing to the woman he dumped her for, she has one too many drinks and makes an uncharacteristically impulsive decision: she’s not going to be good anymore. It’s gotten her nothing but heartache, and besides, everyone knows bad girls have all the fun.

Sam Everly enjoys the lifestyle his family’s wealth provides, but he hates the trappings of society that come with it. If he has to attend one more family function full of bored socialites, he just might lose it. Diane Milstrom, his eldest brother’s ex-girlfriend, is the worst of the lot…or so he always thought. But when he overhears her making a Bad Girl To-Do list, he starts to wonder if maybe there’s more to her than meets the eye. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he volunteers to help her with some of the more…ahem, explicit items on her list.

When Sam points out that being naughty with her ex’s brother is something only a bad girl would do, Diane can’t help but see his point. Besides, she could do worse than a little between-the-sheets action with a sexy guy who makes her heart beat in ways his brother never could. It’s only supposed to be a fling, a way to help her stretch her bad girl wings. But the more items they cross off her list, the higher the stakes become. Because if they aren’t careful, she just might fall in love…and that’s one thing a bad girl should never do.

The book releases on February 2nd, and it’s available for pre-order now at Amazon! Just CLICK HERE!

Excerpt from Good Girls Don’t!

Good Girls Don't SmlI’m so excited about the upcoming release of Good Girls Don’t (Everly Brothers #2) on November 17th! Just for fun, I thought I’d include a little snippet from James and Lyssa’s first meeting. Read on for more! 🙂

Good girls don’t do one-night stands…

If there’s one thing Lyssa Rivera knows, it’s that good girls don’t do one-night stands. But it only takes a few hours in the company of sexy businessman, James Everly, to change her mind. All she wants is a night of sin with the man who’s admittedly way out of her league. Then she can go back to being painfully, boringly good.

James Everly doesn’t do relationships, not after the horrible example set by his parents. When he meets a luscious, irresistible woman at his favorite bar, he’s more than ready to show her a night of ecstasy, but that’s all it could ever be. He certainly never plans on seeing her again. Yet when he shows up at his meeting the next morning to woo a venture capitalist, he’s shocked to find his competition is the very woman whose bed he just left.

James knows he should stay away. He’s no good at long term, and that’s what a woman like Lyssa deserves. But as the two vie for the investor’s attention, he finds himself struggling to choose between the family business and the woman whose touch makes him burn with desire.

Excerpt from Good Girls Don’t:

The retractable canopy was rolled back tonight, giving a clear view of the skyscrapers surrounding them. It was quite lovely, actually. How jaded he’d become that he hadn’t even noticed until now.

The bar was all but empty tonight, something he’d counted on when he’d decided to bring her up here. Besides the bored-looking bartender, who gave James a respectful nod when he glanced his way, there was only one other couple engaged in deep conversation at one of the patio tables.

“Come on. I want to show you something.” He led the way to the railing and they leaned against it. Several stories below, people milled back and forth along the street. Even though it was nighttime, in typical Manhattan fashion the street was still pretty crowded. Up here it was a different world, however. Their own little oasis right in the heart of the city.

“Whoa.” Lyssa gave a nervous laugh and pulled backward, stumbling slightly.

James reached out to steady her. His arm enclosed her waist, bringing her flush with his body. It felt good.

Damn good.

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah.”

When she looked vaguely embarrassed, he put two and two together. “Scared of heights?”

“Just a little.” She lifted her thumb and forefinger and placed them close together for emphasis.

“Sorry. Didn’t consider that. You want to move away?”

He started to move, but she grabbed onto his arm with her free hand and shook her head. “No. It’s okay. I like it here.”

She took a breath and, still clutching onto his arm, looked down again. “Wow, everything looks sort of surreal from up here.”

“Doesn’t it?” They stood there in silence for a few minutes. “Whenever the madness of the city or the stress of the job starts to close in on me, I like to come someplace like this. Look down on it all. Sort of puts everything in perspective.”

“I get that. I do.” Lyssa turned to give him an appraising look. “Your work is very important to you, isn’t it?”

Her words startled him into taking a long sip of his whiskey. “It can be all-consuming at times.”

“So,” she looked at him through her lashes, “no wife at home? No girlfriend?”

“No.” He looked at her askance. “You really think I’d be up here with you if there were?”

She shrugged. “You never know.”

That much was true.

“What about you? No husband or boyfriend, I assume.” When she shook her head in confirmation, he asked, “Does your work take up most of your time, too?”

She heaved a sigh and turned to give him a steady gaze. “I don’t want to talk about work right now.”

Whether she meant them to or not, her words sounded like an invitation. So he stepped just a little closer to her. Close enough that only inches separated them now, the night air bringing the slightest hint of her scent. Not vanilla, as he’d expected, but some luscious, intoxicating scent, like wild cherry blossoms.

Her eyes darkened to black pools of liquid heat. Though she didn’t look one hundred percent certain of his proximity, she didn’t move away.

A sudden stiff breeze blew back the lapels of her jacket and she gave an almost imperceptible shiver.

“Too cold?” he asked.

“No.”

She licked her lips, and the sight of her pink tongue almost made him groan. The lust that had struck him at the first sight of her returned with a vengeance. He wanted her.

Even though it was unlike him to be so forward with a woman he’d just met, suddenly he couldn’t think of anything but tasting her. “Can I kiss you?”

Her breath hitched, as if she hadn’t expected him to flat-out ask. She paused for a beat, then nodded. “Yes.”

Teaser 3

I’m super-excited to announce the release of the first book in my new contemporary romance series, the Everly Brothers. WILD GIRLS RULE is available now and, as a courtesy to my loyal readers, will be on Sale for only 99 CENTS for the first three days!

And the first reviews are in:

“I loved this story. I loved all the elements it contained: confusing emotions, sex, angst, sex, love, sex, separation, more than hot sex. More than anything, I loved Hailey`s personality. She is so strong in this story and she really went after what she wanted. There was no weakness in her, other than Andrew.” ~ Summer’s Book Blog

“This was a gripping and at times emotional and intense read! I really enjoyed it and I loved the characters even if I did want to slap Andrew more then once for being an absolute idiot!” ~ S. Lacey

“It was quick, funny read. Hailey was a fun character and Andrew’s stern personality made it easy for Hailey to mess with him, a lot. They both try to deny their feelings which complicated the storyline but it just made it fun! Can’t wait to continue the series!” ~ Hot Guys in Books

“I thought this was going to be the typical forbidden office romance but it turned out to be so much more. I really got into this read! Hailey had such a great personality, at times flighty but it’s what made her, her. Andrew is the picture of a business man, but when he let his true self out, he was adorable and totally alpha.” ~ Wicked Reads

“I highly recommend this as a book for readers of romance to obtain.  I am looking forward to reading more by this author.  I believe Andrew’s brother, James, will have quite a great story to tell.” ~ Cruising Susan Reviews

Wild girls get what they want…

After moving to New York City, Hailey Thompson lands a job as the assistant to her older brother’s best friend – and her childhood crush – Andrew Everly. Seeing Andrew again both thrills and terrifies her. The lighthearted boy she was once fixed on has grown into an impossibly handsome man, but he’s also become a cold and ruthless businessman.

When Andrew agrees to hire Hailey as a favor to his childhood friend, he still thinks of her as the fresh-faced girl that he knew growing up. On the contrary, she’s all woman. Temptation in a short skirt. As alluring as she is though, the little beauty is far too flighty for a man like him…not to mention that he’s her boss.

As Andrew secretly struggles with his self-control, Hailey does everything in her power to crack his rigid façade. After being forced to spend a weekend away together on business, Andrew’s rigorously sculpted mask of discipline begins to slip, and Hailey gladly takes advantage of the opportunity to educate him in the ways of seduction. He can claim all he wants that he likes his women elegant and controlled, but Hailey knows a dirty little secret…when it comes to matters of the heart, wild girls rule.

Two Weeks Until Wild Girls Rule

I’m anxiously gearing up for the September 29th release of Wild Girls Rule, the first book in my Everly Brothers series.

Wild Girls Rule SmlWild girls get what they want…

Even though these are contemporary romances, there are many similarities to my paranormal series, particularly the Demons of Infernum. Some of them are:

  • Both series are set in NYC. What can I say? It’s one of my favorite places. I was born and raised until the age of 12 in NYC, and I always felt such a vibrant energy there. It’s the perfect backdrop for stories of love and romance.
  • They both feature strong heroines, because that’s what I like to write. While they aren’t always ass-kickers, like Maya in Mark of the Sylph, they all have some sort of internal strength, and that’s what draws their heroes to them.
  • Both series have scorching, burning-up-the-sheets passion, and explicit love scenes.
  • Biggest of all, both series feature a band of (smoking hot) brothers. I love writing about the familial bond. I think it’s one of the things I do best. So I’m super-excited to be writing about another group of close-knit brothers, ones who will do anything for each other.
  • And finally, not to be discounted, the heroes of both series have oodles of money to play around with.♠ In the Demons of Infernum, it was due to working with the Elden Council. In the Everly Brothers, they inherited a billion dollar legacy from their father.

I hope you enjoy reading about my Everly brothers, Andrew, James, and Sam, as much as I love writing them!

Wild Girls Rule is available for pre-order at Amazon and will be available on the other retailer sites shortly.
